Guida I VINI DI VERONELLI 2023
The Di Marzo family arrived in Tufo in the 17th century, binding themselves in a visceral way to the history of the town. The company, started in the early seventies by Vitantonio and now run by Stefano, is located on a hill facing south, to the right of the Sabato river, and whose name is inspired by the ancient medieval tower that overlooked it. The company's philosophy is based on loyalty to its territory that has been handed down for generations. The rows, between 250 and 500 meters above sea level, rest on soils rich in clay, limestone and sulphurous veins. In the cellar, tradition and innovative oenological practices coexist.
THE ENTHUSIAST 100: THE BEST WINES OF 2022
This mineral-driven white has aromas recalling struck match, crushed stone and a yeasty whiff of bread dough. Fermented in steel with indigenous yeasts and aged on its lees for six months, the racy palate features ripe pear, juicy lemon and saline mineral notes framed in crisp acidity. It closes on a suggestion of brewer's yeast. KERIN O’KEEFE

Vinibuoni d'Italia 2022 says of Torricino.
Originally it was the Greco di Tufo.
Stefano Di Marzo's project, started about two decades ago around the vine that finds its ideal habitat in Tufo, is still characterized today by offering Greco wines of great depth.
The Raone vineyards have their roots in an old mine and this bears fruit: yellow peaches sprout, pronounced hints of citrus, sulfur; it is fragrant, pulpy, savory, long-lived.
The basic Greco offers a sharp, markedly savory acidity.
Elegant Fiano: citrus notes, pleasant smoky; sharp, long and savory acidity.
Cevotiempo is a wine with a great fruity background; not immediate, with the charge of freshness and tannin to announce that to fully enjoy it, as the name implies, 'ce vo tiempo'.
Splendid performance for the Raone 2019 which obtains the maximum score of the 3 prositities from the Prosit Guide edited by ONAV Italy.
Merum 2022 and the excellent performance of Greco di Tufo docg 2020.
